Keep out Pest

As you may know, when birds start nesting in your building, they become destructive pests that can interfere with the appearance and performance of your machinery or possessions. If you are housing horses or livestock, birds can contaminate their water or their food, which could lead to potential health issues.

Control Netting

To discourage nesting, We can instal a 2 x 2 lumber bird blocking behind each column in every Metal building we construct. This bird blocking helps to eliminate nesting in the sidewalls, which reduces the bird population in your building. 

Pest Control

 

To provide additional protection and to further eliminate favorite nesting areas, We also offers the optional installation of bird mesh wire. When installed in the ridge vent and between the roof and sidewalls, our bird protection significantly reduces overhead nesting. This, along with Our Metal Buildings sliding door system installed with a concrete threshold, practically seals the building and does away with bird infestation. This INFORM seeks to examine measures which can be taken to minimise the threat birds pose to our built heritage and the ways in which they can be controlled

The Problems Birds CreateBirds can cause problems in a variety of ways:• Droppings can leave stains on the exterior of walls and roofs. This has a negative impact on the visual appearance of buildings and can initiate decay mechanisms.• Feathers, droppings and dead birds can block rainwater goods, leading to a variety of related problems.• Nests and droppings can act as a breeding ground for bacteria and insects posing a health risk to the occupants of buildings. Physical methods of bird control

Net system: Netting strung across openings and over roosting sites to physically prevent birds gaining access. It is worth noting that bird netting comes in various mesh sizes so it is important to ensure that the appropriate size of mesh is utilized. Care should be taken not to allow fixings which may damage the building fabric and ideally fixings should be made in masonry joints wherever possible. Netting is effective in preventing birds from entering an area of a building but the downside is that it is visually intrusive. Wire Coil SystemThis is a similar system to bird spikes but uses protruding coils rather than projecting pins.
